Millie Mags is a multidisciplinary artist whose creativity is driven by the environment. Frequently immersing herself in nature, the artist creates pieces inspired by structures encountered. Patterns in nature and biotic subject matter are recurring themes across the artists portfolio. Being drawn to experimentation in practice, Millie Mags explores a range of methods of making across various mediums.

Artist Statement

My aim has always, and will always be to create.

Spending time outside helps to regulate me and nature has become the root of my creativity. I am drawn to textures and colour; finding that no matter what I create, some reference to organic form is present.

As a visual artist with a visual impairment, I aim to live without limitations, whilst paying homage to the beauty of the natural world.
